DAY ONE
A Few Things I Learned So Your Arrival Can Be Smoother Than Mine
My first 24 hours in Aruba taught me a few things that I definitely want every Serenity Escape guest to know ahead of time. Aruba has been beautiful and the people have been incredibly helpful, but being financially and logistically prepared makes a BIG difference.
📶 1. GET CONNECTED BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE AIRPORT
Wi-Fi or reliable mobile data is a MUST before leaving the Aruba airport.
Before you walk out of the airport, make sure your phone can actually connect outside of the airport Wi-Fi.
You may immediately need your phone for:
Transportation or contacting your driver
GPS and directions
Contacting your resort
WhatsApp, texts or calls
Accessing reservations and confirmation numbers
Banking or payment apps
Emergency communication
Serenity Tip: Do not wait until you reach the resort to figure out your phone service. Confirm your international plan, roaming, eSIM or other data option before leaving the airport. Screenshot important addresses, reservation information and contact numbers as a backup.
